Still amazed that at the reaction of the sheep and the music fits perfectly. Have you ever seen anything like it before?

The Late Show- Halloween Costumes 2006 The Late Show with David Letterman is a multiple Emmy Award-winning hour-long weeknight comedy talk show broadcast by CBS from the Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway in New York City. The show debuted on August 30, 1993.

Letterman was previously the host of Late Night with David Letterman on NBC from 1982 to 1993. The show was co-produced by Carson Productions, Worldwide Pants, and NBC Productions. Shaffer, Wendell, and several members of the band were also with the NBC show.

where is the best place to buy cheap Halloween costumes?

halloween is coming soon and i still dont have a costume i need a cheap but great costume soon where should i go i cant fit into juniors so i need a place with good kid costumes

You can modify this any way you want.
Last year I saw on the Martha Stewart show how they made a witches costume from black garbage bags and duct tape.
you need the drawstring bags. one they cut a slit in the area under the drawstrings so it was a bit longer and they cut ,in a zig zag, the bottom part of the bag off, that part is used for another part of the costume.
this one is for the top half of the costume. It is put on like a tube top with the drawstrings as the shoulder straps. pull and tie to fit.
don't worry about the strings coz they get covered later.
then another bag is cut to be the skirt, zig zag like the first and that is tied around the waist. Duct tape as much as needed to keep the top and bottom together.

they also cut a third bag in half to be the sleeves…they used duct tape to hold things in place. Just tape the sleves to the top.
the cut off parts are used to make the cape and they pulled on the zig zag points to stretch them.(also did on skirt)
It was pretty cool and waterproof but you may need scissors to cut the costume off when done.
I hope I explained enough for you to figure out how to do it.
a half dozen bags and tape are cheap especially if you already have them around

where you cut the zig zag depends on your size.
the sleeves bag is cut down the sides so one half the drawstring can be each sleve gather at the neck…
cut and fit the dress to size.
just add a hat and your good to go.

French Don’t Buy Halloween Costumes?

Oh, its funny that the French always seem to go their own direction. I’m not saying that it is necessarily bad, but it is definitely part of their steorotype.

This is a extract of a News Article found on www.Forbes.com (Yes I do read news) :

Le Halloween est mort. French newspapers say so.

“The major dailies Le Monde and Le Parisien reported on Tuesday that following some short-lived popularity, the Halloween holiday has been “pretty much buried.” The reasons seem to be a mixture of falling sales and anti-Americanism. Perchance a smattering of protectionism too.

“Our Halloween sales have been falling by half every year since 2002,” Le Monde quoted toy retailer La Grande Recre as saying.

The costume company Cesar, which should otherwise be having a blowout month, proffered the “buried” quote, adding that the death of the holiday was linked to a rise in anti-Americanism.

That likely follows the use of pumpkins, skulls and other typical Halloween imagery in the publicity campaigns of McDonald’s, Walt Disney Company, and Coca-Cola .

For the uninitiated, Halloween was not born from the mind of an American marketing executive but the Pagan Celtic celebration of Samhain in the British Isles, where it was once believed that spirits would rise from the dead and mingle with the living.”

I’ve been to France quite a few times but didn’t realise they had such a anti-american point of view?

Maybe if they has cheaper and nicer costumes like we have in London and in the USA, they would have been able to enjoy the celebration more…

What are some really cheap Halloween costumes for men?

Any good do-it-yourself costumes for men that are easy to make? I'm looking for a costume, not something amusing like "static cling with pinned socks and clothes). Thanks!
I"ve looked at Target, Wal-Mart, and Costume shop but they are all pretty expensive. I'm looking in the $20-30 range. Not $40 and up.
Sorry…should have added that this is for a Halloween party we are having for our son and his friends who are just toddlers.

Make him a dishwasher
Get a box, put duct tape on the edges, spraypaint it and make it look washer-ish. you can probably get real washer buttons off an old machine at a junk yard.
put holes in the sides of the box for his arms to come out and Make a circular hole in the bottom so he's not stuck in one place. put a pan on his head and a wooden spoon in his hand

Make your own!!!! You don't have to go as a giant peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, all you need is an old white sheet and a pair of scissors and something circular to cut round and you got a ghost.
