Any good do-it-yourself costumes for men that are easy to make? I'm looking for a costume, not something amusing like "static cling with pinned socks and clothes). Thanks!
I"ve looked at Target, Wal-Mart, and Costume shop but they are all pretty expensive. I'm looking in the $20-30 range. Not $40 and up.
Sorry…should have added that this is for a Halloween party we are having for our son and his friends who are just toddlers.
Make him a dishwasher
Get a box, put duct tape on the edges, spraypaint it and make it look washer-ish. you can probably get real washer buttons off an old machine at a junk yard.
put holes in the sides of the box for his arms to come out and Make a circular hole in the bottom so he's not stuck in one place. put a pan on his head and a wooden spoon in his hand

Have you tried a costume shop? they usually hire for really cheap. Could be a king or joker.
What about going to a op shop and getting some old clothes, rip them a bit and he could go as a homeless man?

A really cheap Halloween costume for men & boys is quite simple, just dress them up as girl & turn the men into women & turn the boys into girls. I'm sure that you & your girlfriends can come together & get whatever the guys need to dress-up as girls.
